Members of NaFFAA Nevada, Arizona, and Utah came together in Las Vegas last December 11 to celebrate the Christmas Season.
The event at the Palace Station Grand Ballroom was rendered festive by entertainment numbers by Veronica Domingo, Marie Abellon, Sarvi Esquivel, the NaFFAA AZ Phoenix Dancers, Soul Splash, the Filipiniana Dance Company of Las Vegas and the Kalahi Philippine Folkloric Ensemble.
The Honorable Consul General Mary Jo Bernado Aragon installed the 2012-2013 NaFFAA Region XI officers. Also installed that evening were officers of NaFFAA Nevada chapter, NaFFAA Arizona (Phoenix and Tucson), and NaFFAA Utah chapter.
Rozita Lee , commissioner of the White House Advisory Commission on Asian American and Pacific Islanders, gave an inspiring speech about the spirit of Christmas and the history of NaFFAA.
