The nation’s First Annual Asian MBALeadership Conference and Career Expo has finally arrived and come to fruition. Some of the leading companies and top-ranked MBAprograms in the world are looking to recruit emerging and aspiring professionals at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from September 10-12, 2009.
AMBA(Asian MBA) will be the annual event of the year for many decades to come. This is the going to be the largest gathering of present and emerging leaders ever with over 200 exhibitors and over 8,000 attendees from all over the country eagerly anticipating this inaugural event. AMBAhopes to parallel the success and driving force of the Black and Hispanic MBAExpos which both have been held for many years rather assertively.
The driving force of this historical event is the mission of its cause: to connect and implement the many outstanding Asian American professionals into leadership positions in the industries of banking, finance, government, healthcare, engineering, global media, technology, insurance, telecommunications to many others.
These industry recruiters are just as intrigued as the hopeful job candidates. Furthermore, Mr. Ahn explained that, "For years, the corporate sector has recognized the growing talent base of Asian American leaders, but has lacked unity and cohesion in bringing the community together—until now. AMBAwill provide the forum to address critical issues concerning Asian leadership and will galvanize and inspire present and emerging Asian leaders to work closely together to make a difference in our world."
