One of the recent controversial break-up in showbiz is between Lovi Poe and Jolo Revilla. In last weeks’ episode of Startalk, Lovi Poe, strapped in a lie detector seat, confidently braced John Lapuz’ questions regarding her recent break-up with the young actor.
When asked if she’s OK after the split, she said "Yes, but not as happy." She’s a bit happy in a sense that she now has time to focus on work and studies. She also said that there was nothing wrong with the relationship. The conflict arose from other parties.
One of the alleged reasons for the break-up was Rosanna Roces, the mother of Jolo’s ex-girlfriend Grace Adriano. Lovi said that she doesn’t care what other people say as long as her loved ones know the truth. "I don’t want to be placed in the middle and not have the respect I deserve…I mean, I have nothing against Jolo, but with the people around him."
She failed the lie detector test in the first question when asked if she harbors ill feelings towards Rosanna Roces who spoke harsh words against her. She quickly defended her side and said that she’s not mad at Rosanna, only hurt with what Rosanna said.
She did not elaborate further but was thankful to the people who were there at the scene and gave their support. "I had to let it go, I mean, for me, it’s just a waste of time and energy if I focus on it".
When asked if there was a third party involved, Lovi calmly said no. She was rumored to be linked with Ronald Singson, the son of Governor Chavit Singson. She said that they should not involve him because they are just friends.
When asked what her message is for that particular person who caused the break-up, she simply said "Laugh out loud." n
