For the second year in a row, the Philippine Consulate General, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center, and Seven Seven Corporate Group, a Filipino-American owned information technology company based in New Jersey and operating in the US, Philippines, and Singapore, co-hosted two networking cocktail receptions for IT and BPO executives of companies based in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The two receptions were held last Oct. 15 and Nov. 5 at the official residence of Consul General Cecilia B. Rebong in New York.

During these receptions, the Philippine Consulate and Trade officials and the officers of Seven Seven Corporate Group worked together to promote the Philippines as an outsourcing destination for US companies.

Executives from Fortune 500 companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse, Citigroup, Merril Lynch, UBS, Prudential, American Insurance Group, and Bank of New York were among the 80 guests who attended the two events.
