Going for her dreams
MANY of us feel that it is too late to fulfill our dreams. For new writer Eve Evangelista, her book Rise of the Sea-Landers is the first step of fulfilling hers.
Although a Certified Public Accountant by profession, Eve’s passion has always been to have the time to write and to use her creative side. The opportunity came, and she left for the islands of Tahiti to write Rise of Sea-Landers.
"I wrote Rise of Sea-Landers when I was visiting the islands of Tahiti—Moorea, Bora Bora and Maupiti," said Eve. "Each island was so unique and very magical. Once my body relaxed and was in sync with the flow of the island motto—no worry, be happy—I was ready to write."
She also explained that it was easy to find inspiration in the beautiful, exotic landscape and the multi-colored ocean. "Also it helped that I have a powerful imagination—for it took me to so many worlds and different realms," she added.
And boy, did it take here to different worlds in her book.
Rise of Sea-Landers is the first book in the Sea-Landers Trilogy about eternal love and the ancient story about Aurora, a goddess from the planet Venus, who reunites with her twin sould Todd, a pilot with the United Planets Coalition (UPC). The current mission for the UPC is to help all countries on Earth to move to a unified government so it can become a new member in the universal alliance.
Through their ventures, Aurora and Todd discover that they are both the descendants of the original Sea-Landers—a group of advanced beings organized by Zeus, the King of Gods, after the destruction of Atlantis. Rise of Sea-Landers will open the reader’s heart to the hidden treasures of the Frog, Mer, Dolphin, Fairy and Sorcerer Realms.
Pursuing her dreams
"When you are in touch with your dreams, there is a surge of passion that fills you, and you live life to the fullest," Eve said. After reading Standing Up for Your Life by Cheryl Richardson, Eve saw it was a defining point in her life, by going through big changes and doing something different.
"I am a CPA but I could do the work with my eyes closed. I was searching for something that I was passionate about and made my heart sing," she said and added, "I realized that writing excited me, but I knew it was not the right time."
