Secretary Teodoro will be in New York to discuss with the Filipino-American community the recent developments related to peace and security in the Philippines, and share current information on security cooperation between the Philippines and the U.S. He will also be meeting with officials of the United Nations to discuss the Philippines’ participation in UN peacekeeping operations in other countries and the UN humanitarian operations in the Philippines.
Before coming to New York, Secretary Teodoro will be in Washington DC to meet with high ranking officials of the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government.
The Forum will be preceded by a cocktail reception at 6:30 PM at the Lobby of the Philippine Center. The forum is free of charge and all members of the Filipino-American community are welcome to join us.
