The Ms. BACN pageant’s panel of judges proclaimed Ms. Shanae Haw, a 22-year-old Vocational Nursing (VN) graduate-Batch 5 student, as Ms. Bay Area College of Nursing 2009. She bested in the Ms. Evening Gown competition as well.
She was crowned after almost four hours of spectacle at the Finn Center in Mountain View on Sunday, October 4, 2009. This is Bay Area College of Nursing’s first beauty pageant. The venue was full of friends and families cheering for their contestants.
The judging panel for the Ms. BACN pageant included: Ms. Cynthia Cruz, Tammy Sripanich, Mark Sorensen, Johnny T. Veloso, Sarah Danvi and Kathleen McCloud.
Throughout the four-hour event, contestants competed in three categories: swimsuit, evening gown and talent. The top five competed in the personality interview.
Final Results
First Runner-up : Ms. Tracee Miranda. She was awarded the Ms. Talent.
Second Runner-up : Ms. Aiza Narag. She was chosen as Best in Swimsuit
Top five : Djennesy Borges, Shanae Haw, Diane Mai, Tracee Miranda and Aiza Narag.
