Summer 2010, the West Coast’s biggest annual Filipino-American gathering returns to Knotts Berry Farm and California’s Great America - Kababayan Fest! Building on sequential, breakout successes in 2008 and 2009, this year’s festival/concert will be the biggest ever, attracting an estimated total of over 20,000 Filipino-Americans. For the first time, Kababayan Fest is partnering with GMA Networks, the Philippines’ number one television network, to bring in some of the biggest names on Filipino television today.
“We’re so excited about GMA” says event producer, Ryan Monsanto. “Kababayn Fest is like a bridge. Nowhere else will you find the best in Filipino entertainment mixed with the very best America has to offer. For sure, this year’s event will be unlike anything ever seen in the Filipino American community.”
