Queens Asian Fest will be a FREE to the public event to be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010, from 10AM - 3PM at the Sheraton La Guardia East Hotel 135-20 39th Ave Flushing, Queens, NY 11354. This year's theme will be "Job Fair/Home Based Businesses." Our festival does not only  promote the Asian Culture and the robust commercial area that is Flushing (in Queens NYC), we also aim to enrich the Queens residents by providing them with job opportunities from Corporate America as well as Business recruiters from different fields such as the US Government,  Executive Level jobs, IT, Pharmaceuticals, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Banking, Finance, Real Estate, Home Care, Security, Airline Industry and others. As an alternative, different business opportunities will also be presented through different Home Based companies that the audience might want to start on their own.
 


Seminars throughout the day will be provided for free or a low fee to all the audiences that will attend. Seminars will touch on Topics like:  Marketing, How to create a great resume, Learn the art of interviewing, Master the art of Social Networking. Approximately we expect 2,000  job seekers coming from the Queens area and the whole five boroughs of New York City and the Tri-State NY-NJ-CT Areas.
 
To make things festive, we will also have retailers selling holiday gifts  from all Asian cultures. This year 's spotlight will be on countries:  Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Philippines,Taiwan and Thailand.


Hourly raffle giveaways will be announced. Fun prizes will be given away through out the day.
 
Everyone will receive a free tote bag from the Queens Asian Fest organizers containing free give aways as well the "Queens Asian Fest Souvenir Journal" (will be printed twice: October 2010 and November 2010) that will enlist all Sponsors, Exhibitor Listings, Tips for Marketing and Job Seekers and Inspirational Greetings from Local Elected Officials. During the evening of Novermber 13, 2010, at 7PM at the same venue, Queens Asian Fest will celebrate a Queens Asian Fest Awards Gala Night, a fundraising event, celebrating success stories in the Asian Community in the Tri-State NY-NJ-CT area.
 
We are excited to present you a Community event that will not only promote your company throughout the Queens and NYC Tri State Area but also help out our Citizens through this challenging economic times by providing them the much needed jobs and or give them tools to start their own home based business.
