On Saturday, June 2nd, 2012, UniPro (Pilipino American Unity for Progress) will host their second annual Summit for Filipino Young Professionals, Students, and Youth.

The purpose of the Summit is to provide a safe space for honest dialogue for young Filipinos from throughout the world. In attendance last year were delegates from across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Qatar, and the Philippines, who participated in discussions focusing on the theme “Building Bridges: Locally, Regionally, Globally.”

The Summit for 2012 will take place in New York City, the same weekend as many other Filipino American community events, including the annual Philippine Independence Day Celebration Parade.
