Bamboo Bridges hosts the 2nd Annual Asian Pacific American Youth Leadership Symposium

A paper tiger refers to something that seems as to something that seems as threatening as a tiger, but is really harmless. Asian Pacific Americans are seen as the “model minority” with high graduation rates for both high school and college. However, our community is nearly non-existent in top leadership roles. Some refer to these barriers as the bamboo ceiling.

Gain valuable lesson that will help you personally, academically, and professionally.

Bamboo Bridges (a nonprofit organization) will be hosting the event at UNLV’s Boyd School of Law. Open to high school students throughout Southern Nevada. No cost to attend. Space is limited. Deadline to submit application is March 9, 2012.
