ConGen Aragon was invited by Hayner on behalf of the Silver Lake Medical Center’s new management headed by its CEO, Steve Popkin, to participate on March 25th on the occasion of the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony announcing the opening of the medical and surgical facility to the various communities it will serve. It has its Downtown Campus which is located at 1711 W. Temple St., in Los Angeles, right in the heart of Historic Filipino Town and its Ingleside Campus, located at 7500 East Hellman Avenue in Rosemead.
Silver Lake Medical Center, now completely under new ownership and management, has a total capacity of 217 beds between its 2 locations. It is a community-based medical and surgical hospital that has passed its joint commission accreditation. The Temple Street facility is west of downtown Los Angeles, conveniently adjacent to FWY 101. Silver Lake offers in-patient medical and surgical services as well as a wide array of outpatient services including: same-day surgery, radiology, laboratory services, cardio diagnostics, GI lab, physical rehabilitation and a 24-hour Urgent Care Center. It also offers several specialty programs including Occupational Medicine Center, Spinal Surgery and a Behavioral Health Unit.
An attached medical office building is home to over 35 physician offices and specialty clinics. A retail pharmacy conveniently located on the ground floor can meet over-the counter and prescription medicine requirements. The hospital is readily accessible via public transportation with DASH and MTA stops right in front of it. FREE ample parking is available for visitors and patients.
Under new management and guided by a new philosophy of true community service, Silver Lake Medical Center intends to fully serve the health and medical needs of all the multicultural populations around its environs. It is a most welcome addition to the community.
