The Fil-Am Christian Fellowship Convention, to be held from June 29-July 2, is going to be a sure winner in community outreach in Las Vegas. The successful community outreach in the City of Covina last July 1 where Asian Journal and its partners participated in “Giving Back Hope” served almost 1,500 people with free groceries, haircuts, medical screenings and financial counseling. There was entertainment for both kids and adults in separate stages as well as skateboard clinic for the youth and many more.
Fil-Am Fellowship is partnering with local community leaders in LV, from left Pastor Tony Martin LV Church on the Street, Pastor Childers Sectional Presbyter NorCalNV and Spring Valley Assembly of God, Fil-Am Pres. Jaren Lapasaran - Sr. Pastor of Heights Worship Center International Ministries and Pastor Randy Greer Sr. Pastor Trinity Life Center/City Impact Center/ Sectional Leadership Team. “We are not dropping the ball to Reach America” says Fil-Am President Lapasaran. What used to be a backdoor property of Trinity Life has NOW turned into the Gateway to and from the city called City Impact Center at 950 E. Sahara Ave. NV 89104. The venue offers amenities as a basketball gym, physical fitness room, boxing & martial arts training rooms, computer literacy/tutoring, child feeding program, crafts and arts, etc.
This will be one of the many other reach points in making connection to the community around the main strip. Convention- Community Outreach has passion for the lost and needy of America. It is high time to give back to the community.
