The PBA Legends USA Foundation is a recipient of the 2009 Bayaning Pilipino Award whose search was sponsored by ABS-CBN TFC and by the Ugat Foundation based in Manila . The Foundation was selected as one of top five awardees, from among many, all over America . The Foundation won for its charitable program of medical, dental, optometry missions in the Philippines, care for its members and people in need,  and for bringing joy to people with its Pinoy basketball nostalgia in America.

The PBA Legends USA Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation recognized in the United States . Donations to the Foundation, under limits set by the IRS, can be deducted from taxes of individual and corporate donors.
