THE Royal Vista Country Club, in Walnut California will be transformed for one evening, come Friday, August 28 at 6pm to the hottest and most inspirational place for young professionals and entrepreneurial hopefuls in the San Gabriel Valley.  Whether you’re young or young at heart, you won’t want to miss out on UYPC’s 3rd power packed event...all ages welcome.

UYPC, a non-profit organization was founded to bring young professionals and entrepreneurial hopefuls together, where they could share experiences and in turn learn from other business people and professionals.  Mentorship and the genuine interest that members have in helping others is the key ingredient to why UYPC has been so successful in drawing people to attend their events, said Mia McLeod, founder of UYPC.

“I remember what it was like being a brand new and young business owner, having started McLeod & Associates at the age of 22.  I don’t think I’d be here today if it wasn’t for the many mentors I’ve had the privilege of having access to, learning from them and having them as counsel in times of challenge.  It’s that very reason I started UYPC, to be able to provide that venue so young professionals and entrepreneurs who are faced with obstacles and challenges can get the answers and support they need to overcome them and succeed.  Especially at a time when everyone seems to be struggling in this economy, I find it even more of a mission to get in front of as many young professionals and business owners that I can, to tell them that it’s the most important time in their endeavor to be out and connect with others.  Now is not the time to shy away from making connections.”

Mia encourages everyone to try and make it out to the Royal Vista Country Club, practically guaranteeing that every attendee will have a life changing experience, a sentiment many have shared from the 2nd UYPC event, held in July 2008 at the Pacific Palms Resort.

This year’s event is full of surprises, including entertainers, a motivational and inspirational speaker, dinner and music.
