Attention: All Philippine-American High School Students
Scholarship grants of $500.00 per student are now available to qualified college-bound students who:
• Must be a high school graduate by June 2010, and active in school/community activities.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA in high school and may show financial need (Please send with this application the latest
school transcript of records and recent good applicant’s photo.)
• Resident of Nevada with at least one parent of Philippine ancestry
• Registered full time students with at least 12 credit hours in the 2010 fall term of any university or college in the
United States.
Important: Save this information to remind dates. All applicants are required to appear before the PBSN Scholarship
Committee on Friday, March 19, 2010, 7:00pm for personal interview and essay writing. Interview location is at Dr &
Mrs. Gabato’s residence, 405 Lacy Lane, Las Vegas NV (near the northeast corner of Valley View & Alta)
Scholarship recipients will be announced and honored on April 3, 2010 at the West Flamingo Park (Flamingo/Jones) during the PBSN Easter Picnic. Money grants will be paid to the university or college of recipient’s choice upon proof presentation of school registration on or after August 28, 2010.
