Showcasing splendid traditional attire were Filipinos who attended the Terno, Maria Clara and Barong Filipino ball presented by the Ilocano-American Association of Nevada (IAAN) last August 21. The event, held at the Luxor Hotel & Casino, became a venue for Las Vegas Filipinos to show off Philippine attire that ranged from very traditional to contemporary. The
IAANattempts to let your spirit soar even for a moment, through the majestic parading of the traditional attire of the Philippines, the organization’s president Leo Belmonte said.IAANawarded several recognitions to attendees, inlcuding most elegant and most traditional barong, terno, and Maria Clara.
