2009 Forecasts for your home and office

(1 vote, average: 5.00 out of 5)

The following forecasts are excerpts of 2009’s Flying Nine Star energies for your home and office taken from my new book, Guide to a Harmonious 2009.

Every new year, it is natural to strive to do better or maintain a certain status quo in your life. But, no matter how much you try to improve yourself, your personal energies cannot overcome the realities of global energies. When the world economy is in recession and you’ve lost your job, or when Mother Nature releases her wrath and your home is devastated in a fire, you need more than personal know-how to help you survive.

More awareness of how annual energies affect you and knowing how to strengthen yourself through feng shui can make the difference between staying afloat or drowning in this stormy economic climate.

When you know how to apply the Flying Nine Star Chart to your personal living space and work environment every year, you can reposition your bed or desk to be in alignment with energies that bring you good health and wealth. You will know what types of adjustments you need to make in order to activate the annual energies to your benefit. By the same token, awareness of what directions bring financial loss, illness, or conflict, allows you to avoid or neutralize negative energies for your protection.

Center

The timely fire Star 9 comes to the center this year, bringing middle-aged females, or the middle daughter, scholarship, promotion, and fame - especially if they have a room in the center of the house. With the fire energy of Star 9, make safety a priority. If there is a kitchen, or other flammable element in the center of your house, be careful of fire. Prevent potential fire hazards by cleaning vent ducts and grease traps, and double-checking electrical wiring. Do not leave a burning stove unattended. Those born in the Years of the Ox and Sheep should be extra cautious in the kitchen. Keep the air quality clean in the center of the house. Adjustment: Place a nine-tier pagoda on the desk in center office for marketing.

North

The north is associated with the middle-aged male, brain, kidney, and sexual organs. With the violating Star 5 here, middleaged men using the north room or door need to be aware of potential injuries to the brain, mental disorders, and sexual ailments. Stress and conflicts between females may arise in the north. Ox, Sheep, Dragon, and Dog persons especially need to take precautions to avoid jealousy, competition, tricky people, scams, and thieves, as well as potential violation tickets or legal issues. Avoid groundbreaking in the north side of the house. Adjustment: Use green colors and plants to enhance energies for health in the north room. Ring a gong five times daily in the north room to release the Star 5 energies.

South

Wood Star 4 promotes the south fire energies. This brings the middle-aged female growth, award, ambition, drive, and confidence. In general, those with businesses related to beauty, marketing, publishing, and media that have a south door enjoy wealth this year, especially if the south door is compatible to its occupants. Older sisters in the south office will likely help or promote the younger sister financially by providing opportunities. Female students do very well to study in the south room. Adjustment: Place a fountain by the south front door to activate wealth.

Please remember that each one of you has a unique personal energy, home, and office. The feng shui recommendations are general and do not take the place of a personal feng shui consultation. The complete forecast and feng shui adjustments can be found in Guide to a Harmonious 2009.
