Paving a path for your child—Feng Shui case study

(2 votes, average: 4.50 out of 5)

Q : What was the client’s main concern when they called you for a consultation?

Master Jenny: Matt called and explained to me that his daughter, Carlene, had always been a respectful daughter and a good student, but she has recently become rebellious, secretive, and goes out often without telling him and his wife where she is going. Her grades have fallen from A’s to C’s and D’s. He and his wife are anxious about the changed behavior.

Q: How much impact does feng shui have on a child’s behavior?

Master Jenny: Though feng shui did have an impact on Carlene, there are other contributing factors as well. Since both Matt and his wife are busy working to pay the bills, it is difficult for them to devote quality time to their daughter’s development.

I asked Matt how long they have lived in the house. He replied that they’ve lived there for five years, but Carlene has only recently become disrespectful and lazy. I explained that the forces of the house’s feng shui have been affecting them for a long time and that the effects are just now becoming physically apparent, bringing awareness to the situation. The impact that a house’s feng shui has on the people who live there varies depending on how strong or weak their personal chi is.

Q: Aside from the feng shui, were there other factors that explained Carlene’s behavior?

Master Jenny: Before visiting Matt and his family I analyzed Carlene’s birth chart, which indicated that she is likely to encounter a love relationship this year. I told Matt that this preoccupation with a romantic relationship can be compounded by the house’s feng shui, especially since Carlene sleeps aligned with annual Nine Stars that can bring distracting love relationships.

Q: How was the feng shui in Carlene’s room?

Master Jenny: When I arrived at Matt’s home, the first thing I noticed was that Carlene’s bedroom door was aligned with her parent’s bedroom door, a TV was in front of her bed, and both her desk and bed were facing the wrong directions, aligning her with annual Nine Star energies that defeat her. The feng shui of Carlene’s room combined with her birth chart’s energy pattern all create an attraction to a troubling love relationship. It turns out that Carlene was preoccupied with an unrequited crush that distracted her from her studies and caused arguments with her parents.

Q: What are some adjustments Carlene should make to improve her situation?

Master Jenny: I recommended for Carlene to relocate her desk and bed so that they face directions that promote scholarship and clarity. Ideally, beds and desk chairs should have a solid "security" wall behind them to act as a physical container of the child’s chi or energy. Personalized colors, materials, and images should be used to further enhance a child’s self-cultivation. Based on Carlene’s birth chart, she needed to use yellow, brown, and tan colors to ground her, and hang images of mountain landscapes for stability and nourishment. Matt and his wife need to make time to talk with Carlene about her social relationships. According to her birth chart, she should not take early relationships too seriously.

Q: What message would you like to impart from this case?

Master Jenny: Good feng shui promotes and supports healthy well-being, but does not alone guarantee good grades. Consulting your child’s birth chart to understand their qualities and downfalls is just as vital as a balanced diet, proper exercise, and positive relationships with family and friends. This way, you can set realistic expectations and feel proud rather than frustrated as a parent.

A child’s birth chart can also provide guidance as to what fields of study a child is innately best suited for. By encouraging an interest that a child is naturally inclined towards, you enable them to develop more easily into a confident adult with strong skills and confidence.
