A GRAND View approach of how to be successful in business includes an extensive list of factors. Learn as much as you can about what affects your success. With knowledge comes the ability to adjust the energies surrounding you, or completely change them to work to your benefit.
Last week’s article discussed the Five Element Theory and how everything around us is associated to one of the five phases of energy known as wood, earth, fire, metal, and water. Every type of business, job, and career can be categorized under one of these elements. Likewise, your personal energy can also be categorized under one of these elements. With this information, you can find a business that is compatible with your energies and more likely to bring you success. To see what your promoting element is and which careers are compatible to you, have your personal birth chart, also known as the Zi Wei Do Shu, calculated and read.
The following is a sampling of some types of businesses and the elements they are associated with. "Wood" businesses include carpentry, writing, and administrative work. "Earth" businesses involve real estate, the human body, animals, and care. "Fire" businesses relate with marketing, beauty, light, and art. "Metal" businesses deal with finances, banking, investments, stocks, and speculative wealth. Finally, "water" businesses are associated with water, purification, sex, trading, and shipping. Many businesses are a combination of elements, which should be taken into consideration. Laser surgery is earth and fire combined, because of the use of updated technology and the inclusion of the human body.
Aside from your birth chart, another very important aspect to a Grand View approach is to pay attention to your feelings, passions, likes, and dislikes. In other words, know who you are. Your intuition is a valid factor in determining your success at anything. If you have a talent for a certain business or an intense passion, it is likely that you should follow that inspiration. Your energy is already directing you on a compatible path. Remember, there are many different ways to manifest talent. Someone good at drawing does not have to automatically become a fine artist. Other options are available such as graphic artist, illustrator, art therapist, teacher, or court artist. You can take your talent and utilize it in a business that is compatible with you. Explore your options!
Assess your feelings as truthfully as you can. If you are generally angry, pessimistic, jealous, or resentful, these negative emotions will get in the way of a successful outcome. Negative feelings can also mislead you into believing that an idea is intuition, when it really is not. Negatively inspired goals will lead to bad decision-making, bad karma, and negative returns. Sometimes people resort to illegal or unethical business dealings in an attempt to make quick, easy money. This kind of money comes with a high price in the form of bad karmic return and despair. Consistently live your life truthfully.
Examine your background, upbringing, and culture. Which ideas that you grew up with are worth keeping and which should be discarded? Discover what kind of karma may be creating an obstacle. Is it karma related to your family, to a previous life, or to the area you live in? All of these factors impact your success.
Next week we continue to discuss the Grand View approach to success in business. As you can see, it takes much more than a business plan and license to create a solid foundation that allows your business to thrive.
