Albert Tejada, owner of Kadok’s Bahay Kubo Restaurant in San Francisco with his wife Nora Tejada, was adversely affected physically by recent ailments and financially by the bad economy. When I saw him four weeks ago, he was limping very badly and could hardly walk. I saw him again last week and he was walking straight and jumping with joy.
“The joints of my feet had been giving me terrible pain which made me unable to walk. I was also concerned about my pre-diabetic condition because I know of several friends who are now taking insulin and prescription drugs like metformin to control their diabetes. The many side effects of taking metformin and other prescription drugs made me worrying,” Albert Tejada said.
