Grand view approach to business – locating your office

(0 votes, average: 0 out of 5)

NO matter what kind of business or field you are interested in, if you own the business, it is important to understand who you are and to learn what location is compatible to you. Location can mean region of the world, country, state, and city, all the way down to which side of the street you’re on and the type of land formations that surround you.

You have your own aura and energy system, which makes you unique. Based on your birth date, you will belong to one of two major energy types called Western Direction Pattern (WDP) or Eastern Direction Pattern (EDP). WDP people are compatible with the west, northwest, northeast, and southwest directions, while EDP people are compatible with the opposite directions of east, southeast, south, and north.

Almost without exception, when a business owner inhabits an office with an incompatible orientation, they work very hard with little result, or face challenges because they are not supported by the energies. Unsupported energies can manifest as slow business, money loss, illness or adultery, or behavior that is erratic, unfocused, and inefficient - all of which trickle down into the business, negatively affecting employees, customers, and profit.

Considering only the orientation does not automatically mean good feng shui. There are 130 other energetic factors that affect you. Be sure to apply the Grand View approach whenever you apply feng shui principles. For instance, you may be EDP with your office located in a compatible direction like the southeast, with the door in the south and think that you’re set. However, if there is a dumpster with trash or a large signpost in front of your door, you are susceptible to that negativity. All of the factors must be taken into account.

It’s like the familiar story of the blind men and the elephant. The blind man touching the elephant’s ears thinks the elephant is like a large tree leaf; the blind man touching the trunk thinks the elephant is like a snake. Both men are basing their judgment on a partial truth. If they could see the big picture, or Grand View, they would understand the reality.

Geography (city, state, country, region, or continent) carries its own energy. Each region has a unique relationship with the sun, moon, planets, and stars - the cosmic forces. Your birth chart will reveal what regions are best for you and when you benefit by traveling or moving. This is an important factor to consider because in many cases, if you start a business in a region that does not promote you based on your birth chart - even if your office has good feng shui - being in an incompatible geographic location can bring little or unstable results.

We have seen many clients who immigrated to the United States and suffered great financial loss and loss of status because they were not compatible with the west. According to their birth charts, if they had remained in their original country, be it Europe or Asia, they would have continued to be highly successful. The reverse has also been true.

Land formations surrounding your business are yet another factor that will impact your success. Different formations relate to different energies. The location, shape, quality of the rivers, lakes, valleys, mountains, sand dunes, ocean, and dense forest all carry a specific energy that will interact with your energy as a business owner.

Grand View feng shui for your business includes convenience for you and your customers. If your commute is too long, you may arrive at work feeling stressed and burnt out, creating negative energy that will manifest in your business transactions. As for your customers, if they can reach you easily on convenient roads and freeways, and if there is easy, ample, and secure parking, your business will easily expand. Finally, like a fisherman, establishing your business in an area where you are exposed to people by car and foot brings "fish into your net."
