LIU FENG Shui Grand View is the trademark philosophy developed by Grand Master Chi-Jen Liu. From decades of research and experience in feng shui and related studies, he has defined 130 factors that affect who you are.
These factors are energy forces that influence your well-being and success in life. They can affect you at any given time and their strength varies depending on your priorities, stage of life, way of life, and your awareness. The holistic consideration of all of these influential factors, or grand view perspective, gives you the ability to truthfully see yourself within the context of your life.
The 130 factors can be categorized into two types: 1) predestined and 2) adjustable. You have little control over the predestined factors that established the foundation of your life. The adjustable factors are more easily changed and developed to promote your well-being. Because everything is connected, when you improve one factor, you trigger a chain reaction that affects other factors and creates positive change in your life.
This article series on Grand View Feng Shui will reveal the 130 factors so that you can explore how these forces define and affect who you are. Hopefully, this awareness inspires you to make adjustments for the better.
factor #12: Your Parents’ Environment
The environment in which a person’s parents reside during pregnancy is extremely important. If the energies or feng shui of your parents’ environment are poor, the negative energies can affect you as the unborn child.
For instance, if your parents lived in a house that was always dark and musty or located in a toxic or noisy industrial region, your mother’s physical and psychological health would have likely suffered whether she was aware of the environment she was in or not. Being exposed to pollutants, disruptive or jarring sound frequencies, living with lack of sunlight and bad indoor air quality, she may have been prone to depression, illness, allergies, or other health issues. Because you and your mother were completely connected during pregnancy, anything she absorbed would have naturally been absorbed by you. Her potentially weakened health and immune system could have been a factor that had a potentially negative effect on your development as a fetus.
On the other hand, if your mother’s environmental energies were positive, the unborn child benefits. If your mother lived in a quiet, green coastal town where her home was constantly filled with fresh air and sunlight, she was likely more connected to nature through ocean views and nearby parks. On this level, she possibly felt more relaxed, peaceful, and nurtured. Her health would have been supported by this positive feng shui environment. Consequently, as a fetus, you enjoyed the sounds and frequencies of nature and a less stressful womb environment.
Whether your parents lived in the ghetto, the country, or in a metropolitan city, each of these environments had its own energies and a different effect on you during development as a fetus.
