Liu Feng Shui Grand View Factor 15: Ancestral burial grounds

E-mail Print

LIU Feng Shui Grand View is the trademark philosophy developed by Grand Master Chi-Jen Liu. From decades of research and experience in feng shui and related studies, he has defined 130 factors that affect who you are.

These factors are energy forces that influence your well-being and success in life. They can affect you at any given time and their strength varies depending on your priorities, stage of life, way of life, and your awareness. The holistic consideration of all of these influential factors, or grand view perspective, gives you the ability to truthfully see yourself within the context of your life.

The 130 factors can be categorized into two types: 1) predestined and 2) adjustable. You have little control over the predestined factors that established the foundation of your life. The adjustable factors are more easily changed and developed to promote your well-being. Because everything is connected, when you improve one factor, you trigger a chain reaction that affects other factors and creates positive change in your life.

This article series on Grand View Feng Shui will reveal the 130 factors so that you can explore how these forces define and affect who you are. Hopefully, this awareness inspires you to make adjustments for the better.

factor #15: Ancestral burial grounds

Feng shui was used in ancient times to select and design burial grounds for royalty to ensure the power of their lineage. Making sure that the final resting place of the deceased is in an auspicious site allows the body to absorb positive earth frequencies. Throughout history, emperors from a variety of countries such as Egypt, China, and Mexico all practiced some sort of burial site selection principle and ritual to ensure the well-being of their ruler and his or her posterity.

Today, selecting a burial site with good feng shui is recommended not just for royalty, but for everyone.

The DNA in the bones of the deceased is still connected to the DNA of their progeny. Thus, the physical remains of a body need to be buried in a prime feng shui location in order for them to rest peacefully and absorb positive earth energy so as to enhance the well-being of future generations.

The school of Yin Zai (spirit/home) feng shui reveals how to determine the best orientation and geographical characteristics of an auspicious burial site. Different land formations of a burial site relate to different family members of the deceased so it requires the trained eyes of a feng shui master to interpret landforms and their effects on the deceased’s future generation.

Your ancestral burial ground, or lack thereof, can affect you and your children. If almost all of the other factors in your life are positive, but you still face many obstacles, it may be your ancestral burial ground. Thus, it is of great importance to select a good burial site or make adjustments to compensate for a poor one.
