Liu Feng Shui Grand View Factor 16: Political and Economic Climate

E-mail Print

LIU FENG SHUI Grand View is the trademark philosophy developed by Grand Master Chi-Jen Liu. From decades of research and experience in feng shui and related studies, he has defined 130 factors that affect who you are.

These factors are energy forces that influence your well-being and success in life. They can affect you at any given time and their strength varies depending on your priorities, stage of life, way of life, and your awareness. The holistic consideration of all of these influential factors, or grand view perspective, gives you the ability to truthfully see yourself within the context of your life.

The 130 factors can be categorized into two types: 1) predestined and 2) adjustable. You have little control over the predestined factors that established the foundation of your life. The adjustable factors are more easily changed and developed to promote your well-being. Because everything is connected, when you improve one factor, you trigger a chain reaction that affects other factors and creates positive change in your life.

This article series on Grand View Feng Shui will reveal the 130 factors so that you can explore how these forces define and affect who you are. Hopefully, this awareness inspires you to make adjustments for the better.

factor #16: Political & Economic Climate

The political and economic climate in which you grow up or establish yourself influences your ability to pursue desires and achieve goals. If you are born and raised during wartime, you will experience intense challenges, stress, and struggle in your life, as compared to someone who was born and raised during a time of peace.

When the economy is stable and a country is united, there is a sense of security that allows people to take risks, which increases creativity, innovation, and growth. It is easier to accomplish goals in this arena of support.

Conversely, recessions, overburdened resources, and troubled political reigns create fear, low morale, doubt, poor decision-making, and desperate measures. For instance, to control over-population in China there is strict enforcement of a “one child” policy. Because males are the favored heir, if you are a female born in China, you may be abandoned, killed, or simply not supported to live. This unnatural situation creates sadness, fear, and bad karma for the whole community.

Similarly, when political and economic systems create superfluous paperwork, legal jargon, insurances, licensing, permits, and difficult regulations, your energy is dispersed in fear of noncompliance rather than focused on growth and creativity, thus hindering your true potential.

Living under a monarchy, dictatorship, democracy, or communistic rule are all forces that you have little control over and yet it influences your well-being. It is important to realize that this is a formidable factor that must be considered when examining your ability to reach your full potential.

No matter how intelligent, diligent, and wealthy you are, if your government system is set up in way that creates obstacles, it can be a determining factor as to how successful you are in achieving your goals.
