Who’s Bringing in Business? – Feng Shui Case Study

(0 votes, average: 0 out of 5)

Q: Why did the client call you?

Master Jenny: Martha and Tim have been in the construction business for over 20 years. It has been a steady business in the past, but since they moved into a new office a couple of years ago and in these recent economic times, they have experienced falling business and more problems than usual. Money comes but they do not know where it all goes.

Q: Are they doing preventive feng shui, or had obstacles already gotten the best of them?

Master Jenny: Like the majority of people who call me, Martha and Tim decided they needed help after problems started to set in. When things are going well, most people do not think of making any adjustments. However, because energy is cyclic and constantly changing, keeping up with these changes by making annual feng shui adjustments even when it seems unnecessary ensures stability and progress in business.

Q: What was the first aspect of the physical environment that needed adjusting?

Master Jenny: Tim’s desk is located in the southeast corner with the hallway at his back. The southeast energies are not compatible to Tim and consequently does not support or motivate Tim. Being at a desk in the wrong direction with a hallway behind him makes Tim distracted and not able to focus on work. He cannot be a true boss in this location and he is vulnerable to stomach problems, as well as arm and leg problems. Tim confirmed that he recently tore a ligament in his leg and also admits that he tries to get away as often as he can. Tim should sit in the northwest corner at the front of the office to absorb the positive energies. Here, Tim will be more productive and better able to contribute his energies as a boss to growing the business.

Q: Were there other factors that affected the client’s business?

Master Jenny: Although Martha and Tim are the business owners, it is their manager Becky, who runs the bulk of the business. It is extremely important that Becky’s energies and environment are taken into account as much as their own.

Becky is born in the year of the snake, which is a zodiac sign known for their ability to generate wealth - especially if the feng shui is good for them. Snake persons are also highly sensitive making them susceptible to stress. Becky’s south office is compatible to her and supports her and she has brought wealth to the business. However, Becky’s office door is directly aligned to the toilet across the hall in the north, which can negatively affect her health. The north direction is associated with the head, kidney and sex, which means she is vulnerable to problems in these areas. Martha explains that Becky’s troubled love life and migraine headaches are distractions that affect her productivity.

Q: Was the exterior feng shui affecting the client?

Master Jenny: Martha’s desk is aligned with the front door, which is aligned with the office door across the street. Doors are seen as the mouths of buildings. When doors line up it is like a mouth facing a mouth where energies can come into conflict. This can induce confrontation and arguments with others. Martha agrees she frequently gets into conflicts with others.

I recommend that they use a ba-gua mirror (convex mirror that is set in an octagonal wooden frame which represents the energies of the eight directions) to reflect away negative energy of the confronting door across the street. They can also use a partition between the door and Martha’s desk to prevent the front door from being directed at Martha.

Q: What is the message in this case study?

Master Jenny: Though you may be the boss in your company, it is important to assess each employee’s contribution and feng shui to optimize your wealth potential.
