The wood Star 4 supported by the inherent water energy of the north indicates that a famous female scholar or author will likely make headlines in north regions. Art and literature fields are strong. Star 4 is out of cycle with Period 8, indicating that many students or scholars will be out of work. The facing metal Star 7 and sitting fire Star 9 conflict. This combination with Star 4 can bring sand or dust storms and high winds to the northern regions that cause fire, especially in mountain areas. There may also be air crashes and rebellion. Northern regions will need social and environmental experts to help prevent and overcome these climatic and ecological problems. Because the stars in the north are all feminine, this can create conditions for sex scandals in these regions.

Fields related to the fire element such as psychic work, therapy, astrology, acting, restaurants, technology, and laser treatment are expanding in the northwest. However, Star 9 along with the sitting and facing illness Stars 5 and 2, also indicate fires, volcanic eruptions, or explosions in the northwest that bring ailments to the eyes, heart, and lungs.
WEST – 6, 1, 1

Water industries related to water Star 1, such as trade, intellectual services, neurology, sex, entertainment, transportation, travel, intuitive arts, and fund raising, will likely prosper in western regions. There will be a redistribution of businesses as they go abroad, and online. With double water Star 1, the west is likely to experience rain, flooding, or landslides in 2010.
Many issues will challenge the leaders of western countries, such as President Obama in the United States. President Obama has supporters, but is also surrounded by people who are not in sync with him and drain his energy. With sitting leadership Star 6 and the movement inherent in facing water Star 1, President Obama will be busy doing diplomatic work in China, Europe, Korea, Taiwan, India, and Russia. However, he may find that no one wants to help the United States because they feel they have been taken advantage of in the past. After intense diplomatic debates, these countries will realize that they have to compromise, adapt new philosophies, and integrate the best of their wisdom and cultures to make things better or they will suffer together. Ultimately, President Obama will succeed.
