THE upcoming Lunar New Year begins on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2010. This synchronistic alignment of the Chinese Lunar New Year with the Western holiday of love may well be a cosmic message to start 2010 with our focus on love. After all, it is the human capacity to love that sustains us, allows us to overcome immense obstacles, creates miracles, and brings us back to our true being.
Love is the common thread with which all of us are woven together to form the colorful tapestry of our global family. Love - not only on a romantic level, but also on a universal level - of our fellow humans, love of our planet, love of our ancestry, love of our god given human bodies and minds, and love of our children. Love is a balance of give and take. Love is cooperation and compromise, not competition and ego.
One of the greatest acts of love is to give respect and appreciation. This is the love that overcomes the current economic crisis and takes us into a brighter future. Keep this in mind as you make decisions and implement your personal and feng shui adjustments this year.
The Lunar New Year coinciding with Valentine’s Day is not the only alignment in 2010, for the annual and 20-year Period 8 Nine Star Charts are also the same. When this occurs, the energies of the Nine Stars in each direction are doubled, making their effect stronger.
The articles over the next 4 weeks reveal a general 2010 forecast for your home and office. For more adjustments that can be made in each direction to improve energies for achievement, relationships, and well-being, visit our website at www.Liu-FengShui.com. Please remember that each of us is unique with different homes and offices. It is wise to consult with a reputable feng shui master for personal adjustments that are customized to your specific birth chart, circumstances, and desires.
Center
The timely Star 8 comes to the center this year, which does bring wealth back into our homes and offices. However, Star 8 and the center are both associated to the earth element. Too much earth is like a steadfast mountain that creates an obstacle representing immobility. This means that although wealth in the economy is returning, its appearance is slow, as people, businesses, and banks are conservative and unwilling to spend or invest as much. Remember the law of attraction. If you want to receive more prosperity, be open to sharing benefits.
Sitting and facing Stars 4 and 3 are associated to eldest sons and daughters. Young adults may face stress and challenges, especially if they are just graduating from college. Also associated to scholarship and licensing, Stars 4 and 3 are out of cycle, which indicates that many people need to get relicensed or reeducated to match the needs of the current employment trends. This can also be seen as an opportunity to pursue a new direction. It may be a good time to review your birth chart and find out what careers are best suited to you. Men and women are overwhelmed and prone to paperwork problems, dizziness, catching colds, poor judgment, or drinking problems, especially if they sleep or work in the center room. Be sure to pace yourself, find ways to live simpler, and focus on the positive.
