(Part 1 of 5)
WOULDN’T it be nice to see into the future and know what tomorrow brings? This idea is not as far-fetched as you may think. Many philosophers from sophisticated ancient cultures have explored and theorized about the elusive concept of time and predicting the future.
From the Babylonians, Egyptians, Greeks, Hindus, Buddhists, Tao, Christian, Jewish, Inca, Mayan, and Hopi, to the great minds of Newton, Kant, and Einstein, our predecessors have left us secret codes, bibles, calendars, star maps, almanacs, formulas, and time calculators to help us understand the patterns and cycles of our past. They also developed tools for forecasting the possibilities of the future.
One of the ancient tools still used today is the Flying Star Theory. The Flying Star Theory, or Nine Star Charts, is one of the highest levels of feng shui practice. Feng shui masters have used Nine Star Charts to forecast what is likely to occur during annual, 20-year Period, and 60-year Era cycles of time at specific orientations on the earth, providing insight into what you can expect in the upcoming year and beyond. It is through a deep study of the Nine Star Charts and incorporation of the Five Element Theory and Yi-Jing that a final forecast is made for each orientation.
This first article of a five-part series presents an overview of events that may occur in center regions of the world in 2011 based on the Nine Star charts applied to the world and the United States. Keep in mind that the Nine Star chart can also be applied to individual countries and states. Because the annual Flying Stars are influenced by the 20-Year Flying Stars, I have included the 20-Year Nine Star chart.
CENTER – 3, 2, 7
Europe, Near East, Nebraska, Kansas
Star 7 comes to the center in 2011. It is an ambitious, smart, intuitive, feminine energy indicating that we are likely to see dynamic females with foresight and abilities that activate change in the world. Star 7 is also a shrewd, wild, and daring energy that can cause sex scandal, competition, prostitution, impulsive belligerence, or bullying.
Associated to the west direction, Star 7 shows that on a global level, western countries such as the United States might use aggressive tactics like military taunting or currency war to gain economic footing.
Star 2 is associated with civilians or their female leader, and Star 3 is associated to government officials and lawmakers. This combination shows that strong female leaders are chosen to represent civilian concerns and needs. They will face challenges posed by government and lawmakers as they try to find solutions to unemployment, financial audits, and corruption.
Star 7 is also an explosive energy. Appearance with wood Star 3, which is associated to the east or China, shows potential for forest fires, arson, or rebellion in east regions of China. Burned or damaged agriculture leads to higher food and lumber costs.
Over the 20-Year period, Star 7, a metal energy associated with the United States, appears with the 20-Year earth Star 8, which is associated to China. One interpretation is that the United States digs into the earth energy of China like a metal spade looking for wealth. The United States could find aggressive ways to rebuild its wealth in the East. Because earth promotes metal, the United States will likely benefit and enjoy economic recovery.
Stars 3 and 4 in the 20-Year chart can bring hurricane and typhoons that promote flooding and related pollution. Out-of-cycle Stars 3 and 4 can bring issues with legal and financial documentation. However, coming together with intuitive Star 7 means scholars and masters possibly lead the way as messengers who help humanity persevere.
20-Year Star 8 shows that globally, real estate should continue to improve, northeastern countries rise in power, and younger generation entrepreneurs gain the most wealth during this period. Economic sectors that likely do well in 2011 include: public relations, entertainment, lobbyists, spas, lumber, construction, trade, wholesales, discount stores, interpreters, courts, immigration, adult entertainment, law, government positions, and grains.
