COME the Chinese Lunar New Year on February 3, 2011, the stars and planets take on new positions and acquire a different ability to affect and create certain natural phenomena all over the world. Interpreting the Nine Star Charts by understanding the laws of nature through the Yi-Jing, 5 Element Theory, and the philosophy of feng shui, we can get a glimpse of how nations across the world will fare. Knowing which economic sectors will go up or down allows you to focus your efforts on attaining positive results and avoiding loss.
This third article in a five-part series presents an overview of events that may occur in east and southeastern regions of the world in 2011 based on the annual and 20-Year Nine Star charts applied to the world and the United States. Refer to the graphics to identify corresponding regions in each direction. Keep in mind, the Nine Star chart can also be applied to individual countries and states.
EAST – 5, 9, 5
China, India, Washington DC, Virginia
Star 5 is a volatile energy associated with tyrannical leadership, mafia, terrorists, piracy, and the black market. It has been known to bring chaos and malaise. Star 9 is associated to advanced technology, the internet, art, and entertainment. The combination of Star 9 with the double Star 5 shows that great wealth is still made in these fields, but likely through underground markets and shortsighted or illegal methods. There could be many cases of infringement upon copyrights, patents, and trademarks. Business is good for international intellectual property lawyers.
On the financial front, Star 9 with Star 5 brings high risk and unethical speculative businesses that quickly boom up like fireworks, but come down in ashes just as fast. Investors and businesses need to exercise caution regarding unstable stock market activity in eastern regions such as China.
20-Year ailment Stars 2 and 5 added to annual fire Star 9 and violating Star 5 could trigger fires, military attacks, earthquakes, unusual earth or underground activity, high temperatures, or virus. Still, this brings business for emergency rescue teams, clean up crews, and health care and medical professionals.
20-Year Star 6 is associated to male leaders. Coming together with annual Star 5, leaders of eastern regions need to think things through before implementing decisions. Rash or stubborn leaders may unknowingly create their own obstacles and failure. Leaders of eastern regions also need to step up their security - especially during travel. Too much stress can bring sickness and bad decision-making, causing these leaders to feel irritable, impatient, and prone to acts of retaliation.
SOUTHEAST – 4, 1, 6
Australia, Southeast Asia, Florida, S. Georgia
Although southeast wood energies are defeated by the metal Star 6, the water Star 1 automatically modifies the negative effects. Both Stars 6 and 4 are associated to scholars, experts, consultants, writers, and intellectual entertainers. Water Star 1 shows that these professionals travel, encounter new opportunities, and attain fame and wealth. A lot of work is outsourced to workers in Southeast Asia.
Spiritual masters will travel to and congregate in southeast regions to teach programs such as aerobic exercise, meditation, feng shui, and natural law. Their mission is to bring awareness that will help the world prevent trouble. Teachers will be traveling to, and coming from the southeast.
Star 7 in the 20-Year chart indicates political issues, leadership problems, possible revolt, illegal trafficking, slavery problems, and prostitution. Still, special medicines, alternative healing therapies, new surgical methods, and intuitive practices are strong and business is good. 20-Year Stars 3 and 4 indicate an increase of teachers and scholars, as well as hurricanes and typhoon.
