Refer to the graphics to identify corresponding regions in each direction. Keep in mind, the Nine Star chart can also be applied to individual countries and states.
NORTHWEST – 2, 3, 8
N. Canada, Washington, Oregon, Alaska
Earth Star 8 promotes the metal energies of the northwest. This brings position and wealth - especially to government officials and male retirees. Stars 2 and 3 indicate troublemakers and conflict between police officers and civilians. Communication and understanding need to be emphasized to solve these issues. Female leaders work hard and need to make sure they do not overexert themselves or they may suffer ailment. Diligence on their part ultimately brings results. Star 3 is out-of-cycle and indicates that our youth are affected and troubled by political and economic problems.
Annual Star 8 and 20-Year Star 9 indicate a growing value in real estate showing that wealth returns to the northwest. This brings prosperity, economic growth, traveling, and special events. However, Stars 5 and 2 bring earthquakes, respiratory ailments, and stress for civilians.
WEST – 1, 4, 9
United States, Mexico, California, Nevada
Fire Star 9 defeats the metal energy of the west. This potentially brings fire disaster or high temperatures that can cause eye and respiratory problems. Both Star 9 and the west are strong feminine energies indicating differences of opinion between women. Still, these differences bring new voices who share new perceptions, methods, and innovations that bring much needed change to the west.
Star 9 is associated to the actress, art, restaurant, intuitive arts, and technology. These fields enjoy publicity in the media, and those who are creative and inventive do exceptionally well in 2011. Stars 1 and 4 also bring new marketing ideas, famous writers, academic breakthroughs, and an increase in direct sales of herbal products, internet shopping, and shipping.
Annual Star 9 and 20-Year Star 1 are complementary, bringing fulfillment, optimism, and a rise in marriage and childbirth that stimulates economic growth. 20-Year Stars 6 and 1 bring the male leaders opportunities to travel and expand.
