FENG shui is based on the laws of nature and does not discriminate. The laws of nature affect all of us regardless of our gender, race, age or religion. When it rains, we all get wet. When the earth quakes, we all shake. Like all living things, we all need sustenance to survive.

Fertile grounds are required for plants, animals, and human beings to thrive. We know that certain plants do better in certain locations with specific soil and weather conditions. When moved to an incompatible environment, a plant will be challenged and likely whither, ceasing to thrive. This is also true of animals. Certain species require specific climate and food sources in which to thrive and propagate.

The need for a compatible environment in which to thrive is equally true for humans. We each have personal frequencies, which like antennae, respond to the unique frequencies of earth and the cosmos in different ways. One person’s antennae may receive a clearer signal in the south, while another may get a better signal in the northwest. Living in incompatible geography or in a house that does not support your innate frequency will create obstacles that make it difficult to grow and move forward in your life.

It is vital that live in a country, region, city, and house that promote your personal cultivation. Results often speak for themselves. If you feel stable and are doing quite well, you have likely found a home that supports you. However, if you are struggling and nothing seems to help, it may be due in part to the fact that you are not in the right place, thus your feng shui or environment does not support who you are. In this case, you need to spend some energy determining your personal frequency and finding a location in which you will flourish.

A detailed birth chart called the Zi Wei Do Shu can be calculated using your birth date information to provide you with guidance that points you in a compatible direction. Essentially a map of your life, this birth chart illuminates many aspects of your energy, such as personality, relationships, health, and career, as well as compatible locations in which to establish a home and career.
