Ana Co Puno: LA’s Empress of Concerts

Lastweekend, the Fil-Am entertainment scene was all abuzz about the historical tandem of two concert giants Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera.

When Starmedia Entertainment first announced this unique, powerhouse offering in Los Angeles, there was irrepressible excitement among live concert-goers!

Tickets to the concert were sold out in a flash and people who could not get tickets were really clamoring for it.

To your hair, be kind

To your hair, be kind

When you treat your hair well, it usually returns the favor. This means, making sure your hair gets the nourishment needed according to demands of each season.

Now in the middle of fall and in preparation for the winter months, it’s a good idea to get started on upping the hair’s moisture levels.

A hero in every Filipino

As of this writing, the devastating aftermath of the worst disaster to hit our country continues. Watching the news update, I saw tons of garbage and waste piling up all over our country. The challenge of rebuilding, cleaning and picking up the pieces is overwhelming.

We leave it up to our faith in God to believe that even in this harrowing time, there is a purpose. I can’t do anything but cry, seeing our helpless fellow Filipinos, my brother and his family, my nieces and nephews in the middle of ths turmoil. Salamat sa Diyos at ligtas sila. My hearts goes out to the victims, some I know personally.I’ll just pray to God that our beloved country will suffer no more and for us, who are here in America, to be more vigilant in helping our kababayans in Marikina, the place where I was born.

Do you have the IT factor? A beauty queen, a model and a rapper

It’s innate in me to be drawn to talented people or individuals who possess what we call the "It" factor. I like to believe I have the eye for potential, be it for beauty queens or male fashion models.

My penchant for discovery does not take a day off. Even at the oddest of places, my eyes are always searching for somebody to mentor.
