Arroyo signs Magna Carta for women

MANILA - President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Friday morning signed into law the Magna Carta for women in Malacañang.

Republic Act 9710 prohibits discrimination against women and recognizes, promotes and protects their rights.
