Francis Gaw "Life is what you make it. Three laws govern life here on earth: the laws of God, the laws of Nature, and the laws of Man. If you want to attract chi or blessings in your business and in your life, you must not violate any of the three laws. Otherwise, there’ll be imbalances and therefore, not everything will be fine."

Thus explained Francis Gaw, a well-known Filipino Chinese feng shui master who also happens to be a psychic. He is sought after by many Filipino and Chinese companies, individuals and families who want to attract chi and remove negative energies in their lives, homes and businesses - not only in the Philippines but in Hong Kong , Singapore and China . Sharing how it all began,

Francis told the Asian Journal, "In 1991, before the Pinatubo eruption, Ihad a vision of things that would happen. This went on for a long time. Iwas seeing spirits and ghosts. Ten years ago, Ilearned about feng shui. Ididn’t study it; Iwas gifted with it. Iapplied it to our family. Naging smooth ang negosyo (his family-owned company, Golden Touch, is into tarpaulin and billboard printing) Mas madali ang mga transactions. And business went on smoothly."Soon, other people began to ask his help and some psychics admonished him to use his gift to help others improve their lives. Thus, he began to help others. And as his clients began to benefit from his feng shui and psychic advice, Francis’ clientele grew. Big, well-known companies and highly influential people are among those who have seen their businesses thrive, according to Francis. One good example is Waterfront Hotels. He also attributes the hotel’s success because of having good managers who handle it.

One misconception that some people have is that once you have good feng shui, success will naturally follow. But Francis negated this. "There are three factors in a business – the feasibility of the business, the human factor and the feng shui. They go hand in hand. Kabit-kabit ito. If the feasibility of the business is not good from the beginning or the people working in it are not effective and hard-working, feng shui will not help. You see, feng shui helps but it’s not all about feng shui," explained the master

Many people think that feng shui is a kind of religion but Francis pointed out that this is not the case. "Religion is man in relation to God and feng shui is man in relation to nature. Feng shui is balancing man with nature. There has to be balance in everything. God is there to look at us and guide us but we all have freedom of choice. Your life is a result of all the decisions you make," shared Francis.
