During Thanksgiving, we think about what to prepare on our table -- turkey, ham, relleno -- all the good and masasarap na pagkain.

Family and friends gather together and partake of the Thanksgiving feast, have drinks and relax. The next day, Black Friday, we hit the mall to take advantage of sales. "Siyempre tayong mga pinoy, we love that!"

But sometime we forget that this is the day to give thanks and praise to God for blessing us with good health, not just food or all the material things in life -- for our existence, our very own life.

This is also the time to forgive people who have hurt or offended us and ask the forgiveness of those we’ve hurt. The spirit of Thanksgiving gives us the opportunity to do both.

I would like to express my sincerest thanks to all who have been part of my life. God has given me this wonderful, colorful, challenging but very fulfilling journey. I thank God for all the blessings that I have received and are still receiving.

To those whom I have I offended and hurt in anyway, my sincerest apologies.

Thank you, Lord for the wisdom and the strength you give me to face the challenges and trials of life. Whatever the future holds for us, we know You have a purpose and we believe that this is "Your Will and It shall be done..."

Grace Llana- Walker

This lady is a taskmaster and the life of the party--a kikay, wife, mother and humanitarian. Her community involvement with the Hope for Children Inc. is outstanding. The compassion she has for unfortunate children is what’s giving her strength to get fully involved in this worthy cause.

She was chosen as one of Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women Who Make a Difference -- a title she truly deserves.

An educator since she was 18, Grace has a knack for organizing countless charity and social events.

I met Grace a couple years back at the Palms in Pasadena with her two handsome sons, CJ and Michael. Her enthusiasm and warmth captivates. At the recent concert of Ryan Gallagher and friends, she provided her help and support and we got to know each other even better. To you Grace, thank you! And may the joy of this holiday be with you and your family.
