Fashion Show was hip n’ smash
The bash started with a red carpet that was studded with VIP’s and celebrities who were snapped by an eager crowd of shutterbugs and the media. At the rooftop, the glass ceiling provided a complimentary backdrop of clear night skies with a sprinkling of shiny stars which had to compete with the incessant flickering of flashbulbs from the "paps," especially when the show started with the animated welcome hype of the super-duo hosts, Isaac Keys (NFL Cardinals linebacker, co-star, The Ultimate Merger and Essence Magazine’s Eye Candy of the Month) and Katrina
Darrell (aka ‘Bikini Girl’ American Idol). The show’s send off was Fil-Am Maria Amor’s Exoti-Angels’ sexy choreography. Then rocking to the beat of catchy 80’s music compiled by DJ CJ Walker, one-by-one, sporty and flirty models walked down the ramp to feature Sterling’s "New Sexy" --- a unique, yet balanced mix of retro and modern 80’s flavors in neutral tones that can easily be mixed and matched, consisting of shirt dresses, one and two-shouldered cotton dresses, peace-themed shirts and military jackets, leggings, and of course, the unisexy ties. All were adorned with the signature "Sterling" logo and foil embellishments. The looks were capped by the blings of the Sterling’s celeb accessories designer, Micha Designs. The event was co-produced by Fil-Am philanthropist and PRspecialist Grace Llana-Walker to benefit H
OPE4Children Foundation. Parris Harris was the fashion show director. Liquid Nitro and UbreakIFix were the major sponsors of the event that was held last August 13.***
