Everybody loves a treat! And on December 6 at the Handog ng Faso sa Pasko, you will be getting not just one spectacular show, you’ll also get a free Christmas treat – a pre-concert entertainment right at the doorsteps of the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Outstanding Filipino dancers and singers from KULTURA Philippine Folk Arts and CSI Professionals will perform- for free- at the auditorium’s façade, which will be brightly decorated with parols. The Pampanga Day Celebration Commission USA, led by Mike Cucueco, Executive and Finance Officer, will make sure the Pasadena Civic Auditorium will shine brightly with Pampanga-made Christmas lanterns to uphold the Pinoy tradition of celebrating Christmas with parols

The pre-concert show will start at 3PM and will feature dance groups from KULTURA, under the leadership of its directress, Celia de Fato. They will perform a musical dance concert that will feature the best of the Philippine cultural dances.

Another part of the show will be an all-male chorale from CSI Professionals. One of the premiere employment agencies in Southern California, CSI Professionals Inc. wholly supports the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra in its commitment to showcase Filipino talents, arts and culture. Thus, it has generously offered the services of its chorale to give our kababayans that Christmas Pinoy experience on the afternoon of the Christmas concerto. The chorale is made up of 15 Filipino acapella singers from the Middle East who have been renowned through international competitions, and several performances in Saudi Arabia and in the US.

So, come early on Dec 6! The pre-concert show starts at 3PM and will end at 4:30 PM, as the doors open in time for the Handog ng FASO sa Pasko main show at 5PM. With Charice and the 60-member superb Filipino American Symphony Orchestra led by Maestro Bob Shroder, the concerto will also feature outstanding singers like Joey Albert, sopranos Kit Navarro and Isabella Ramos, Joanne Marie Villanueva, and several excellent Fil-Am adult and children’s choirs.
