Our mission
"Founded in 1976, PACE is a community development corporation that creates economic solutions to meet the challenges of employment, education, housing, business development and the environment in the Pacific Asian and other diverse communities."
The Pacific Asian Consortium in Employment was established to address the employment and job training needs of the Asian Pacific Islander communities as refugees arrived in the United States during the 1970’s. Since then, PACE has met the primary objective of its founding and has broadened its scope of services to benefit the needs of its diverse community. Our programs and services include:
Business development center
The BDC has facilitated the start up and expansion of over 7,000 businesses in Los Angeles since its inception in 1992. The BDC also includes PACE’s Financial and Consumer Education & Asset Building program as well as the SBA Women’s Center to provide clients, entrepreneurs and small business owners with the tools necessary to succeed financially.
Early childhood education
PACE Head Start is a federally funded program that empowers the whole family and offers early childhood education and comprehensive family development at over 20 school sites in central los angeles, the south bay and the san gabriel valley.| Comments |
