Hosted by the De La Salle Alumni Assn.-East Coast (DLSAA-EC), the event is both a homecoming for La Sallians/ La Sallites of all 'batches' and all campuses throughout the Philippines, as well as an evening of camaraderie with colleagues from members of the Coalition of the Alumni Chapters of different Philippine schools.
These groups have worked together over the years, such as this year's highly successful Kundirana benefit concert for Bahay Pag-Asa, spearheaded by the Philippine Mission to the UN and the Philippine Consulate with the La Salle Alumni Chapter, and Friends Indeed. Friends from Assumption, Ateneo, St. Scholastica's, Holy Spirit, UP, Maryknoll/Miriam, UST, San Beda, St. Theresa's and many others, with whom La Salle alumni have collaborated on past events, are also welcome to this celebration of friendship and solidarity.
"Go Green!" refers to La Salle's color, yet it also defines the eco-consciousness of many today, including our alumni, such as Jasmine Gendrano-Pritamdasani, whose father's book, "Oscar: A Man of the Forest, Memoirs of a Forester," was launched at the Philippine Center this summer. Seats for the buffet dinner-dance celebration are at $45.
The organizers are particularly excited at the results of a proactive campaign resulting in over 70 new and reactivated members, in cultural, fundraiser and outreach activities, culminating in the Coalition of Alumni Assns.-sponsored first evening of the Simbang Gabi sa Konsulado, on Dec. 10 this year, and support for the Phil. Consulate's calamity fund drives.
