ACSC (Atimonan Circle of Southern California) was founded in 1981 by two Atimonanins residing in West Covina, California by the name of Tatoy Altamira Benaraw and Teresita Mapaye Domingo. With a goal in mind to connect every Atimonanin in the area, they started calling fellow kababayans they know living in the Southland, from San Bernardino County, Orange County, LA County, San Diego, and even as far as to the North of California. In order to pull them together in one place, they decided to have an annual picnic that coincides with the celebration of the town fiesta in Atimonan, which is usually either the last Sunday of July or first Sunday of August. The get-together is a potluck, so most of the attendees brought one main dish, rice, dessert, fruits and beverages. The picnic is a whole day affair in a park, usually starts at 10:00 AM until sunset. There are games with prizes for the winners, singing, dancing, eating, picture taking, old picture swapping and most of all the "kwentuhan". In this occasion, Atimonanins and their families from different parts of California are brought together to experience once a year the feeling of being "home" away from home.

As the organization became bigger, officers were appointed/elected, dinner/dances were hosted and objectives were outlined. The first appointed president of ACSC is Loloy Romualdo, followed by the first elected president, Benny Parco, then by Tatoy Altamira Benaraw, Alex Astrera, Peter Amador, Caruso Altamira Alvarez and currently by Alfredo Garaniel.

During the past 25 years, Atimonan Circle has helped several students in Atimonan in the forms of scholarship; donated the Health Center to the community, computer for the central public school, speedboat for law enforcement and library for Atimonan Central School II.

ACSC has hosted several dinner/dances to commemorate the organization's anniversaries, to induct new officers, to celebrate the coronation of our very own "Miss Atimonan" and her court, and to raise funds at the same time. The association's 25th anniversary was celebrated at the Marriott Courtyard in Baldwin Park, California on August 05, 2006.
