The Filipino American Association of San Diego North County (FAASDNC) is a non-sectarian, non-profit, non-political organization of Filipino, Filipino-American and American residents in San Diego, North County, California.
Vision
To be recognized in San Diego County as a major influence in the Filipino Community.
Mission
The mission of the Filipino American Association of San Diego, North County (FAASDNC) is to preserve the Filipino culture, to promote a positive image for Filipinos and Filipino-Americans, and to support the communities we serve.
Goals
- -Represent the Filipino community.
- -Raise awareness of our association within the community.
- -Learn about and teach Filipino customs.
- -Actively participate in community activities.
- -Raise money to provide academic scholarships.
- -Offer cultural, educational, and professional outreach programs.
- -Retain and increase membership.
- -Promote active participation and involvement.
- -Collaborate with other community organizations.
- -Encourage fellowship through social events.
Membership
Any person residing in San Diego North County is eligible for membership. Membership fee is $12 (Annually per family/per household).
Monthly membership meetings are held on the second Sunday of the month at 12pm at The Mira Mesa Recreation Center.
Meetings may be re-scheduled for holidays. Please check www.faasdnc.org for the meeting schedule
