Round 9

The fight is over. Oscar's corner throws in the towel. 

Wow what a performance!

Round 8

Oscar has a black eye under his right eye. Manny's is just controlling this fight in every way.

Manny starts by thwoing jabs to back up Oscar. Oscar stands tall and answers back. Freddie Roach said that this is the time Oscar starts fading and it appears so.

Manny continues to jump around. Oscar comes in but whiffs at a few punches, Manny comes in and answers with a some great body shots.  Manny gain corners Oscar, He peppers him with lethal right hooks to teh body and left crosses.

Manny is dominating the fight. Oscar must have rope burns by now. Oscar backs up Manny but to no avail. Manny corners Oscar with ten seconds left and threw a flurry of combinations making Oscar wince in pain. Oscar saved by the bell.

Manny round 8

Round 7

Oscar lands a right but Manny ducks out of it. Oscar is using his jab more. Manny lands a few more punches in between Oscar's guard. 

Manny lands a few right hooks. Manny's throwing a lot of punches that seem to confuse Oscar. Mann? The crowd is on their fet. 

One minute left, Manny has Oscar's back to teh ropes. Oscar looks like a tree abotu to fall. Manny's putting the pressure on. Manny again is attacking with relentless fury. Oscar answers back but Manny again lifts up his arms. 

Manny 7

Round 6

So far Manny is controlling this fight. He's shown good ring generalship and fancy footwork while landing nice left crosses.

The sixth round begins, both open cautious of one another, whiffing a few jabs in the air. Manny comes in and lands a few blows but bounces back and Oscar tags him with a left hook to the chin. Manny again relentlessy comes in looking for an opening. 

Manny lands another 1-2 entering the final minute. Manny is the busier fighter right now, throwing a lot of punches at Oscar. The two look to be tiring. Manny, though, is still controlling tis fight. Manny lands two nice punches as they head into the final ten seconds. 

Manny round 6

Round 5

The two meet at the center of the ring and exchange blows. Oscar is still trying to figure out where Manny is going to be. Manny looks quick, bouncing around the ring like an energizer bunny. Manny throws a right hook, blocked by Oscar but lands anothe left hand. 

Manny again lands another left hand to Oscar's head and the crowd erupts. Manny's controlling Oscar with scintillating footwork and a jab to set up that left powerful, effective left hand. Teh crowd again erupts with Manny chants.

Manny lands a few blows entering the final minute of the round. He lands a right hook to Manny's right mid section. Oscar lands a nice right hook to the body of Manny and Manny throws up his arms and says more. Manny comes back and throws a few more jabs. NOw , the two exchange heated blows. The crowd erupts and now are on their feet. 

Manny Round 5 although Oscar landed a nice right hook to his body in the final minute.

Round 4

Oscar has no head movement. Oscar is trying to come in now to Manny's body. Oscar starts more aggressively btu Manny quickly counters by stidestepping and throwing a few of his own shots.

Oscar is now trying to counterpunch Manny's left hand but fails to do so. Manny again lands two lefts consecutively to Oscar's head. Oscar tries to keep Many off him using that jab but ... now Manny lands a nice right hook and another left. 

Manny again lands another left hand and now a left hook between hthe gloves. 

The crowd is giving Manny a standing ovation after the last round. Oscar looks beat up eating those left hands. 

Manny Round 4

Round 3

The two touch gloves at the start of the third round. Both guys are blocking each others punches. Manny throws that left hand again to the head of Oscar. Oscar's jab seems to be more effective now. 

The crowd is chanting Manny. Manny's trying to ... Oscar had Manny on the ropes and lands a few blows before Manny sidesteps. Manny again sticks that left hand to the head of Oscar.

Manny now comes in and lands a right hook to Oscar's body. Manny against lands a nice right hook to body and lands a straight left hand to Oscar's head. Oscar thorws his patented left hook but Manny blocks it. 

Manny round 3 

Round 2

Oscar comes in and corners Manny but Mannyanswers back landing a flush left and right hook. Manny continues to stick and move. Oscar looking for his jabs range. Oscar is throwing some punches but Manny is blocking them very well.

 Manny lands another left hand to the head of Oscars. The two exchange blows with Manny goign to the body now. 

One minute remainng. Manny lands another nice 1-2 combination and the crowd cheers. Manny lands another left. Manny seems to be too fast for Oscar. Oscar is trying to land his jab butManny is too quick. OScar eats another left hand from Manny with 10 seconds remaing.

 Manny round 2

The crowds cheers are deafening. People are on their feet as the start of the first round begins. The Manny chants are filling the arena. 

Oscar lands the first attack a 1-2 jab- right hand combination. Manny is dancing outside the ring trying to land his left hand... Manny lands a nice left straight to the head of Oscar. Oscar answers back with a right to the midsection. Manny looks like the quicker fighter. He has great head movement . The two are still sizing each other up. 

Manny is landing that left hand consistenly now. 30 seconds remaining and Manny is landing that left hand. It's a case of hit and run for Manny. He looks very sharp, has great footwork and is making Oscar look like a fool. 

I give Round 1 to Manny.

And it begins...

The lights are off as the two fighters prepare for their entrance. The crowd is on there feet. Cameras are flashing at every direction. Manny comes out first dressed in a red and blue Philippine replica robe. He's walking in to "We will rock you" by Queen.The Mayor is waving the Philippine flag as inside the ring awaiting for Manny to walk in.

As Oscar walks in to the almost packed arena, a montage clip of Oscar's previous bouts is being played. Wearing a dark burgundy robe, Oscar walks in with a native Mexican music amidst boos and cheers from the crowd.

 Get ready to rumble...
