The trailer of “Scripted in Heaven,” the movie inspired by Lou Baron’s book, premiered during a red carpet screening event at the Wilshire Screening Room in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday, August 20. Many investors, media and guests attended the highly-anticipated event during which the team presented the concept and trailer of the movie.
It is being produced by Timeless Entertainment, Inc., which aims to start production next year on sets across the US, Italy, France and the Philippines.
Together with Alkavida, the sponsor of the “Scripted in Heaven” screening, the first shots were well-received and acclaimed by the audience that has have been eagerly anticipating the trailer for months. From the mysterious shots of Padre Pio in the wild to the surgery room scenes where the destiny of the main character begins its journey, the trailer opened the door to the imagination.
The story is haunted by anger and fears but those will soon lead us beside its characters to love, faith and a fantastic spiritual ascension—a real awakening captured on film.
“This film will bring about a spiritual renaissance. It will instill hope and faith among the audience,” Baron said.
Starring as Dr. Robin Baron—who has undergone physical and metaphysical healing—is Clint Jung. Playing herself is Lou Baron. Other cast members include Holgie Forrester who plays Marie Costado, the bearer of the message from Padre Pio; Jean Kinsella as Padre Pio; Dr. Cabebe, Robin’s best friend and surgeon plays himself; and Michael Walker as Jesus.
The movie was written and directed by Jean Kinsella, while casting was done by Jeannine Fisher.
