Pacquiao: On the defense regarding gay marriage

LET us leave out the debate on whether same sex marriage should be legalized or not for now, and focus on what probably started as a candid and sincere response from Manny Pacquiao – one that has turned into a public relations challenge for our Pambansang Kamao.

This week proves to be the homestretch for Filipino-Mexican-American Jessica Sanchez as American Idol Season 11 comes to a close. This is it and she’s in it to win it. The stage is set for a showdown with another formidable contender in the svelte Phillip Phillips. After another whirlwind season of upsets, broken hearts and tired throats, the dust will settle and America will add another “Idol” to its roster of talent. It is Jessica’s moment to grab and claim victory not just for her, but for the multitudes backing her up.
