The Philippines’ favorite balladeers to serenade audiences at pre-Valentine concert

E-mail Print

A powerhouse pre-Valentine concert two of the Philippines’ enduring balladeers will surely melt lovers’ hearts when they perform on Sunday, February 12 at the Intramuros Restaurant in South San Francisco.

Consummate performer Julius Obregon, and all-time favorite balladeer Bert Nievera (father of Concert King Martin Nievera) will serenade their audience along with The Vincent Sisters, of the internationally renowned Tony Orlando & Dawn. On February 14, they will also be performing at the World Gourmet Restaurant in Fremont at 7pm.

These two-night performances are exclusively dedicated to music concerning love, romance and matters of the heart, with immortal songs from America’s great composers like Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein, George Canseco, Louie Ocampo, and many more.

The show’s concept is simple: love songs performed by soothing velvet voices of Julius, Bert and the Vincent Sisters, Pam and Joyce. A production number of Corner of the Sky from the musical Pippin, will start the show.

The balladeers are determined to thrill the audience with special arrangements of OPM hits of composer George Canseco via Bert’s Canseco Suite, and Julius’ signature Matt Monro Medley to name a few. An Anita Baker Medley will also be performed by Pam and Joyce who have just returned from their successful European Concert Tour with Sir Cliff Richard and the Ladies of The Supremes.

For more information, please call the show concierge, Geoffrey Castillo at (415) 823-3375 or (925) 200-8883.
