THE 18th century of the image of Nuestro Señor Padre Jesus Nazareno de Quiapo owned by the late Dona Mercedes Syquia de Villar from Vigan, Ilocos Sur which was brought by internationally known beauty impresario Ferdie Syquia de Villar here in San Francisco in 1978. A nine-day novena and Holy Mass to be officiated by Rev. Fr. Noel Laput, Associate Pastor of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Daly City, to be held at the Villar residence at 140 Escanyo Drive in South San Francisco from 1 to 6pm. The following two days, January 2 and 3, the Rosary and Novena will start at 1 to 5pm. On Monday, January 4 the Rosary and Novena will start from 6 to 9pm, until Friday January 8.
On Saturday, January 9, the Fiesta of Padre Jesus Nazareno de Quiapo, the festivities will start at 1pm with the Holy Mass to be officiated by Rev. Fr. Rene Ramoso, Pastor of Saint Agustine Church in South San Francisco.
