Successful businesswoman Dorie Paniza heads the list of September birthday celebrants

Paniza, owner of Daly City Physical Therapy and chain of Araville Residential Care Homes in San Francisco and South San Francisco, is the first Filipina who will try her luck to win a seat in the Daly City Council this November 2 election. She will turning 48 on September 11, and will be celebrating on Friday, September 10, at Edna’s Ichiban Library in Westborough at 6pm.

Other celebrants for this month are:

  • September 1 - Tax specialist Myrna Diaz Cabrera, former LBC president and Fiesta Filipina organizer Sid Protasio, founder and adviser of Batanguenos Association of Northern California Rudy Manalo, former Manila Mayor Jose Rizal, college basketball ace Mel Lopez and GMA Pinoy TV singer-actor Ariel Rivera;
  • September 3 - Former singer Ronnie Villar, and Ovelle Orence of Sonmes Cheine Law Offices in San Francisco;
  • September 6 - Manila Recording Company (MARECO), pioneer in the Philippine recording industry, founder and president the late Don Jose Punzalan Villar;
  • September 10 - Former Lions Club president and house construction builder Vigie Guilberto of Hillborough, and former Miss RP-Universe and singer Fatima Helga Yusup;
  • September 14 - TV host Edu Manzano (who recently signed a contract with GMA Pinoy TV), and top actor Patrick Garcia;
  • September 15 - ASAP star and actor Jericho Rosales, GMA 7 Bubble Gang and Jeje Mom lead actor Wendel Ramos, former Miss RP-USA Patricia Torres of Hayward, and Philippine News editor-at-large Cherie Querol Moreno;
  • September 16 - San Francisco community leader and US Federal Trade Commission employee Violet Orence;
  • September 17 - Jesus of Black Nazarene devotee Noemi Jalindon;
  • September 19 - Former Ulirang Ina awardee the late Mercedes Syquia de Villar;
  • September 21 - Former San Francisco nurse and realtor Eppie Escobal Grant, and jewel designer/manufacturer Randy Harris;
  • September 22 - Former Kislap Magazine chief photographer Tony Tantay Jr.;
  • September 23 - San Francisco community leader and San Mateo Commissioner LIna Mesina Susbillar, and Philippine Delicacies proprietress Lina Quiambao;
  • September 25 - South San Francisco computer analyst Jun Jun Villar;
  • September 26 - Former Miss Young RP Rachelle Kelsey and concert host David Rodriguez;
  • September 27 - Former Antioch community leader and fashion designer Net Chua;
  • September 28 - Former San Francisco fashion designer Ditas Sadang and South San Francisco community matron Agnes Maravilla;
  • September 29 - Former movie actress of Premiere and Larry Santiago Productions Miriam Jurada who now resides in Sacramento.
