When I left the Philippines in the early 1980s, there was a young and innocent teenager who was fast becoming a matinee idol—the Sharon Cuneta phenomenon was just beginning.
The technology at that time was very limited, but we were able to watch her movies here in the states via Betamax tapes (LOL).
How time flies. Her blockbuster movies with Viva Films, like Bukas Luluhod Ang Mga Tala, Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig, and many more, were some of the memorable movies that really transformed me into an admirer of Sharon Cuneta’s work.

I have done a number of debutante balls—from the very simple to the very lavish—but all with the same emotions and excitement.
It is a special, heartwarming event that both the debutante and her parents look forward to. I have done event planning and hair, make-up, and styling for debutantes, so I know how it feels like, putting a lot of hard work into this special event.
