Circles, cycles and movement

A CIRCLE is perhaps the perfect geometric structure there is.

Although some would claim the triangle or a square to be better structures because of their stable nature, the circle and all its derivatives – the orb, the sphere, the globe and every structure on earth and in the universe with a core, circumference and radii emanating from the core – can teach and even help us to understand much about nature, human life and its cycles and seasons.

Hail to the ordinary

THE world we live in is conditioned to emulate extremes. We delight in the most beautiful, the tallest, the largest, the richest, the brightest, the fastest and anything else you can think of, as well as pay attention to extremes at the opposite end of the spectrum: the ugliest, the shortest, the smallest, the poorest, the darkest, the slowest. You get the idea.

We’re conditioned to pay no mind to the ordinary, the middle ground, the average run-of-the-mill, the shades of gray, the humdrum of everyday life or the predictably dull and boring.

But do think about the far-reaching consequences of being hauled off to court and wasting your time and money defending yourself.
